The Changed World
I can't believe it's been 10 years since the attacks of 11 September 2001. It's a very different world from that which we had before. I imagine I'm not alone in saying, I know exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news.

Working in a Trauma ICU in a Level I Trauma Center in TX, I can relate to what it is like to "be there" for people on the worst day of their lives and I can say simply, it is very hard. I truly admire the first responders, NY PD and FD and my heart goes out to those who have been affected by this calamity. If anything, I believe this tragedy is still a blessing to show us that we are resilient and if we work together, we can survive anything that life may throw at us.
